Growing up my mom would make the cutest natural homemade soaps. My mom had an herbal & natural remedy for everything. As a child I just loved when something went in the pot one thing & came out as something else! Sometimes it came out as soap & other times it came out as tea! When I reached puberty, I began to suffer from painful boils under my arms. I was confused and embarrassed, so I kept it from my everyone for years. I would later learn I had Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) also known as Acne Inversa, a condition that progressively get worse & become an uphill battle for me. I was successful at hiding my condition until I was in my early 20s. I would find myself struggling daily to complete simple task due to constant pain & discomfort. My mobility was becoming a problem & I was in denial until one day I fell. I went to the hospital & found out the severity of my HS.

My mother & I tried several topical solutions & of course she had plenty of herbal concoctions for me to take internally but the detox was too painful to bare. I had been researching on my own too & In 2019 I had my second severe flare up. I had been suffering tremendously for OVER a decade so I did what ANY REASONABLE child would do... I asked my momma to open those Natural /Herbal remedy books that have been collecting dust over the years & make me something...I remembered she used to make soaps when I was a kid & asked her to do it again but this time, I needed her to make the soap with My Unique Skin condition in mind... She studied & we took classes to understand the science behind soaping, hours of research, studying & soap science to create something just for me!! Thus, MyUniqueskin was born, we are a Mother and daughter duo & owners of MyUniqueSkin. We carefully select Quality Oils & Butters. We educated ourselves on the science behind the beneficial properties to carefully create recipes that will make your skin as happy as mines! Our homemade luxury hot process soaps, body butters, and natural skincare products are made in Dallas, GA.
